【摘要】:TheobjectiveofthisstandardistoprovideguidelinestoCommitteeD22fortheevaluationoftheprecisionandbias,orboth,ofASTMstandardmethodsandpracticesatthetimeoftheirdevelopment.Suchanevaluationisnecessarytoassurethatacrosssectionofinterestedlaboratoriescouldperformthetestandachievesatisfactoryresults,usingthemethodaswritten.Italsoprovidesguidancetotheuserastowhatlevelsofprecisionandaccuracymaybeexpectedinsuchusage.Thewrite-upofthemethoddescribesthemediaforwhichthetestmethodisbelievedtobeappropriate.Thecollaborativetestcorroboratesthewrite-upwithinthelimitationsofthetestdesign.Acollaborativetestcanonlyuserepresentativemediasothatuniversalapplicabilitycannotbeimpliedfromtheresults.Thefundamentalassumptionofthecollaborativetestisthatthemediatested,theconcentrationsused,andtheparticipatinglaboratoriesarerepresentativeandprovideafairevaluationofthescopeandapplicabilityofthetestmethodaswritten.1.1ThisstandardprovidesguidancetotaskgroupsofCommitteeD22onSamplingandAnalysisofAtmospheresinplanningandconductingcollaborativetestingofcandidatemethods.1.2ItisintendedforusewithotherASTMpracticesforthedeterminationofprecisionandbias.1.3Itisapplicabletomostmanualandautomatedmethodsandtomostcomponentsofmonitoringsystems.Itisrecognizedthattheevaluationofmonitoringsystemsmayprovidespecialproblems.PracticeD3249shouldbeconsideredforgeneralguidanceinthisrespect.1.4Itisdirectlyapplicabletochemicalmethodsandinprincipletomostphysicalmethods,samplingmethods,andcalibrationprocedures.1.5Theprocessesdescribedareforthegeneralvalidationofmethodsoftest.Auserhastheobligationandresponsibilitytovalidateanymethoditusesforaspecificapplicationandtodemonstrateitsowncompetenceintheuseofvalidatedmethods.
