【摘要】:Thistestmethoddifferentiatesbetweenbondedsolidlubricantswithrespecttotheirwearlifeandload-carryingcapacity.Ifthetestconditionsarechanged,wearlifemaychangeandrelativeratingsofthebondedsolidfilmlubricantsmaybedifferent.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheendurance(wear)lifeandload-carryingcapacityofdrysolidfilmlubricantsinslidingsteel-on-steelapplications.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandardexceptwhereequipmentissuppliedusinginch-poundunitsandwouldthenberegardedasstandard.Themetricequivalentsofinch-poundunitsgiveninsuchcasesinthebodyofthestandardmaybeapproximate.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
