【摘要】:ThispartofISO23611specifiesamethodforsampling,extractingandpreservingcollembolansandmitesfromfieldsoilsasaprerequisiteforusingtheseanimalsasbio-indicators(e.g.toassessthequalityofasoilasahabitatfororganisms).Basicinformationontheecologyofmicro-arthropodsandtheirusecanbefoundinthereferenceslistedintheBibliography.ThesamplingandextractionmethodsofthispartofISO23611areapplicabletoalmostalltypesofsoils.Exceptionsmaybesoilsfromextremeclimaticconditions(hard,frozenorfloodedsoils)andothermatricesthansoil,e.g.treetrunks,plantsorlichens.Forthesamplingdesignoffieldstudiesingeneral,seeISO10381-1.MethodsforsomeothersoilorganismgroupssuchasearthwormsarecoveredinotherpartsofISO23611.ThispartofISO23611doesnotcoverthepedologicalcharacterizationofthesitewhichishighlyrecommendablewhensamplingsoilinvertebrates.ISO10390,ISO10694,ISO11272,ISO11274,ISO11277,ISO11461andISO11465aremoresuitableformeasuringpH,particlesizedistribution,C/Nratio,organiccarboncontentandwater-holdingcapacity.
